The Derangen is a time-honored epic of ancestral legends and myths that encodes customary law, a code of ethics, notion of aesthetics, and social values for the people of Mindanao (south Philippines). This workshop will explore embodying this living history, which has been recorded and perpetuated for generations through music, song, and dance.
